Help that meets people where they are
We specialise in supporting families in difficulty, working closely with the professionals who see hardship first.
Crisis Support
Fast, practical help for people in crisis across South Tyneside — food, clothing, household essentials and a friendly face when it's needed most.
Family Referrals
We work with Health Visitors, Social Workers, Professional Services and Community Groups to support families through difficult times.
Community Shop
Our shop on Boldon Lane funds our work and gives the community an affordable place to shop — and donate — clothing, gifts and more.
Our Story
From a garage in South Shields to a shop of our own
It began as The Angels Treasure Cove, run out of founder Lyne's garage. Word spread about a woman quietly getting food, clothes and support to families who needed it — and in 2023 The People's Angels moved into a bigger shop of their own on Boldon Lane.

Our shop is open six days a week, right next to All Saints Church. Pop in for a browse, drop off a donation, or come and have a chat — everyone is welcome.
