Privacy Policy
How we look after your information
We know that getting in touch with us can mean sharing sensitive, personal things. Here's exactly what we do with the information you give us.
Who we are
The People’s Angels CIC (Registered Company No. 11031941) is the “data controller” for the personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at thepeoplesangels@gmail.com or 07779 263055.
What we collect
When you use the contact form on this website, we ask for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The reason for your message and anything you tell us in the message itself
If you’re getting in touch about a referral or asking for support, your message may include sensitive details about your own or someone else’s personal or family circumstances. You only ever need to share what you’re comfortable with — we’ll ask if we need anything further.
How we use it
We use the information you give us only to:
- Respond to your enquiry, referral, volunteering offer or donation
- Arrange practical support for people and families in crisis
- Keep a record of the enquiry so our small team can follow it up
We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties beyond what’s needed to respond to you (see below).
How it’s sent and stored
Messages sent through our contact form are delivered to our team's inbox using Brevo, an email delivery service, and are also sent to you as a confirmation that we've received your message. Brevo processes this information on our behalf solely to deliver these emails and does not use it for its own purposes. Once your enquiry has been dealt with, we keep messages only for as long as reasonably necessary before deleting them.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics software. We don’t track your visit or build a profile of how you use the site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To do this, just email thepeoplesangels@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the website or our services change. This version was last updated in July 2026.
